Polish Sausage Dinner
2 pounds uncooked Smoked Polish Sausage
1 - 12 oz. can beer
2 TBS Minced Onion
1 Bay Leaf
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 - 14 oz. package macaroni and cheese dinner
1 TBS chopped parsley
In a large skillet over high heat, lightly brown sausage. Add beer, onion, bay leaf, and pepper and simmer 10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare macaroni and cheese according to package directions and keep warm. With a slotted spoon, drain sausage and place around macaroni and cheese on a platter. Sprinkle with parsley.
Sausage Skillet
1 pound Country Flavored Sausage Meat
1 Medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 - 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 TBS sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup sour cream
In a large skillet over high heat, brown sausage with onions and green pepper, spoon off any fat. Stir in tomatoes, macaroni, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
